We refer to specialized and tailor-made curricula for different age group as practiced in ‘Early Years Learning Framework’ in Australia which believes that early childhood is a time when exploring notions of “being”, “belonging” and “becoming” are essential to the development of identity, cognitive reasoning and wellbeing.

 

In this context our early years are categorized as following;

  • Infant Care/Walkers     (6 to 15 months)
  • Pre-Nursery             (16 months to 21/2   years)
  • Nursery                 (21/2 years to 3½years)
  • Pre-K.G.                (31/2 years to 4½years)
  • K.G.                    (41/2 years to 5½years)

Curriculum:

In line with Early Years Learning Framework, our specially designedcurriculum enables young children to achieve learning and development milestones through;

  • Sound balance of ‘classroom based’ and ‘out of class hands-on play-based’ activities as well as
  • A range of Extra-Curricular-Activities (ECA) suited to different age groups to foster talent and personality development.

Through carefully formulated learning activities and stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments, our aim is to foster structured development and education with the objectives of developing key life skills amidst our pupils namely emotional, social and communication (language, numeracy and literacy).

Our early years curriculum comprises of following key components amongst others;

  • Environmental awareness
  • Orientation of Society and Culture
  • Promotion of Independence and Responsibility

Believing that Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) form an important part of learning and development in children, we offer a wide range of ECA suited to different age groups to foster talent and personality development, such as but not limited to

  • Art & Craft
  • Music inclusive of vocal/chorus singing and different instruments
  • Different forms of dancing like jumba, ballet, freestyle &Nepali etc.

Teaching Faculty and Staff

Led by a highly experienced Early Childhood Development (ECD) expert and kindergarten educator, our teaching faculty comprise of motivated professional teachers and assistants.

Our Teachers at Bodhi Brikshya are competent to handle young children and are trained to promote language and cognitive development in them as well as;




  • Encourage and promote positive attitudes towards learning 

  • Encourage empathy, cooperation & respect
  • Oversee and ensure personal hygiene of young pupils

In order to encourage and foster a range of positive developmental outcomes such as personality expression, individuality, relationship development, curiosity and creativity in our early years learner, the school premise is carefully designed to create different learning hubs where resources are added or changed according to the children’s need and interests. Monday to Friday  08:30 to 14:30 (8:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
